The Historic Tunnel Mill committee is composed of seven members:

Pamela Smith - Pam is the chairperson of the committee.  She is a registered nurse and is currently working for Dr. Morton Kasdan.  Pam and her husband are restoring a circa 1832 Federal house on High Street in Jeffersonville, IN.  She has been involved with scouting for nearly 15 years and has been researching Tunnel Mill for 10 years.  Pam and her daughter, Laura, wrote the National Register Nomination for the John Work House and Mill Site and the application for the Indiana Historical Marker at Tunnel Mill. 

James P. Witten - Jim is the vice-chairman.  He is president of Witten Bro's, Inc., mechanical contractors.  Jim is a participant in the Bethlehem School House NAP program.  He is a former Boy Scout Council President and is still an active participant in many scouting programs.  He has been involved in Tunnel Mill as a youth and adult since 1952.  Jim is a member of the properties committee, which has the overall responsibility for Tunnel Mill and other properties of the Lincoln Heritage Council, Boy Scouts of America.

Laura Smith - Laura is the secretary of the committee.  She graduated from Purdue University in May 2000 with a degree in Chemistry.  She finished a minor in History from University of Louisville in May 2001.  Laura has been involved with Tunnel Mill for 15 years and has been researching the history of the camp for nearly 11 years.  She co wrote the National Register nomination and the application for the Indiana Historical Marker and has written a brief history of the camp for a pamphlet on Tunnel Mill.  She has also researched John Work's descendents and is compiling their genealogy.

Innes W. "Buzzy" Dobbins III - Buzzy is a board member.  He was employed by Chevrolet General Motor Division of General Motors, 1963 to 1970.  He then owned Dobbins Chevrolet Oldsmobile from 1970 to 1981.  He is currently retired.  He was a past president of Scottsburg Kiwanis Club.  He has been a long time member of Boy Scouts and is still active, currently serving on the Lincoln Heritage Council  properties committee.  He is currently a member of the Board of Directors of the Scott County Community Foundation.  He has remodeled a house built in 1909, a commercial building built in the 1930's, and is currently remodeling a house built in the early 1940's.

William K. "Bud" Hargrave Jr. - Bud is a board member.  He is a semi-retired insurance agent who has sold his company to the Callitus-Smith agency in New Albany, IN.  Bud is a former Boy Scout Council President.  He is a member of the Executive Board of the Lincoln Heritage Council and is a member of the Council's Health and Safety Committee.  Bud has been active in all areas of scouting and other community endeavors since the late 1940's.

Peter C. L. Boyce - Pete is a board member.  He is the president of Midamerica Electronics Service, Inc., which provides technical services, emergency service, and construction to radio and television broadcast stations.  Pete is the president of New Albany Broadcasting Company, Inc. and is a radio station owner.  He is a board member of the Lincoln Heritage Council.  He has been an active member and leader in scouting since 1950.  Pete is also the secretary of the Kentucky chapter of the Society of Broadcast Engineers.

Carl E. Kramer, Ph.D. - Carl is a board member.  Carl is the vice president and cofounder of Kramer Associates, Inc., a public history consulting firm specializing in the history and preservation of the Louisville Metropolitan area.  He holds a doctorate in American history and is an adjunct lecturer at Indiana University Southeast.  He has been active in scouting for forty-six years, including participating and working at Tunnel Mill in the 1960's and 1970's.
